(TheConservativeNews.org) – The Big Tech vendetta against conservatism came to a head earlier this year with the banning of Donald Trump from both Twitter and Facebook. Alleging Trump’s use of their platforms created the risk of violence, they stopped the then-president from posting in the interim. Now, it appears certain Trump will remain permanently banned from Twitter.

On Wednesday, February 10, the company’s CFO, Ned Segal, gave an interview on CNBC. When asked if Twitter would allow Trump to start posting again if he ran for office or became president, he stated “if you are removed from the platform, you are removed from the platform.” He went on to claim this approach applied regardless of one’s public status, and was necessary to avoid violence.

Segal’s statements merely provide confirmation of what most of us already suspected. Once Twitter succeeded in fully de-platforming Donald Trump, it was never going to allow him back. Clearly, freedom of expression matters far less to Twitter than its political agenda.
