Instead, the article states, he wants to hold a large rally in Florida to officially announce his 2024 presidential campaign.
The report claims Trump will board Air Force One to make the journey to Florida shortly before the inauguration is scheduled to start. The Trump campaign did not confirm or deny any of the details of this story.
Given the significant question marks over Biden’s potential victory, this seems like a reasonable move. It would be hypocritical to sit through an inauguration for a president who is believed to not have won fairly. This will also allow Trump to build a strong early position for his 2024 campaign.
