(TheConservativeNews.org) – The Abraham Accords are bilateral peace deals between Israel and the UAE and Israel and Bahrain. The Trump administration was actively involved in both agreements. Analysts are hopeful these deals could signal the beginning of lasting harmony in the Middle East, a region that’s seen its fair share of unrest.
On Sunday, November 22, there was a development which brought us even closer to that goal. Sources report Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman had a secret meeting in Neom, a Saudi town. The reports further claim US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was also present.
There has been no official confirmation that this meeting took place, so we can’t say for sure what was discussed. However, sources claim the two parties negotiated a mutual normalization of relations.
