(TheConservativeNews.org) – On Tuesday, November 17, news broke that President Trump had fired the head of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). Christopher Krebs had repeatedly asserted that suspicions of election fraud were baseless, contrary to the president’s public statements.
Once again, Donald Trump has refused to accept defiant behavior from a leading federal official. As head of the executive branch, he’s entitled to hire and fire federal agents as he sees fit. This is a right he has exercised liberally throughout his time in office.
Brandon Wales, who was the third-most senior operative at CISA, has been installed as acting director.
Firing Krebs was a controversial move, and the Liberal media have (predictably) slated President Trump for it. However, nobody should be surprised it happened. Donald Trump is a fierce leader who demands loyalty from his subordinates. It might not be to everyone’s liking, but it’s one of the qualities that make him a great president.
