(TheConservativeNews.org) – On August 10, Democrat Andrew Cuomo announced he was resigning as New York’s governor. Multiple women have said he sexually harassed them, leading to a damning report from NY Attorney General Letitia James (D). Now, a Democrat of even greater seniority than Cuomo is under scrutiny for similar alleged misdeeds.
Tara Reade is a former Senate staffer who alleges President Joe Biden (then a US Senator) sexually assaulted her in 1993. She’s among eight women who accused Biden of inappropriate touching in 2019, claims Biden repeatedly denied on the campaign trail thereafter. Reade spoke to Fox News the day Cuomo resigned, expressing her support for the survivors of the governor’s alleged abuse. She also called for an investigation into the president. She thinks Biden should resign.
Reade also targeted the Time’s Up movement over the revelation that one of the group’s co-chairs, Roberta Kaplan, tried to help Andrew Cuomo escape the blame arising from the allegations of one of his accusers. Kaplan has since resigned from her position with the organization.
Could this be the beginning of the end for Joe Biden’s presidency? It seems a remote prospect right now but, as Andrew Cuomo proved this week, it’s not an impossibility.
