(TheConservativeNews.org) – Daunte Wright tragically lost his life during a police traffic stop in a Minneapolis suburb on Sunday, April 11. Early reports suggest that Kim Potter, the now-resigned officer who discharged her firearm, may have mistaken it for her taser. Potter has already been arrested and charged with second-degree manslaughter.
As was the case last summer after the death of George Floyd, which also took place in the Minneapolis area, protesters have taken to the streets. Video has emerged from Washington, DC of a group of protesters chanting “every city, every town, burn the precinct to the ground.”
There are also recordings of the mob entering a Metro station and boarding a train, continuing to chant slogans. You can see some of this footage in the tweet below.
Many of America’s cities were devastated last summer by looting and violent protesting. With a lot of our local economies still reeling from COVID-19 restrictions, a resurgence in this type of activity is the last thing we need.
