Prince Andrew Plots Public Return After Epstein Scandal (REPORT)

( – Disgraced member of the British royal family, Prince Andrew, hit the headlines on Sunday, October 25. The Sunday Times reported the prince is planning his return to public duties, having stepped away from such work “for the foreseeable future” last November.

Prince Andrew was a close friend of the late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. In what was perhaps the most contentious news story of the year, Epstein was awaiting trial for sex trafficking when he was found dead in his jail cell in 2019. It is these ties, as well as allegations stating Prince Andrew had sex with a 17-year-old on three occasions, that forced the prince to distance himself from the palace.

Sources close to the royal family have indicated there have been discussions about a return for Prince Andrew. However, they also state it’s a highly unlikely outcome if he cannot clear his name of wrongdoing.

The prince gave his side of the story in a now-infamous interview with broadcaster Emily Maitlis last November. His statements were littered with inconsistencies, and most commentators found his version of events impossible to accept. In light of this, we’re unlikely to see Prince Andrew represent his country publicly again anytime soon, regardless of his wishes.
