(TheConservativeNews.org) – The full extent of disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein’s heinous crimes became common knowledge after his death in a Manhattan jail cell in 2019. The fallout was massive, as many of the elites who had personal relationships with Epstein suddenly found themselves the subject of intense scrutiny and speculation.
The best example was Britain’s Prince Andrew, son of Queen Elizabeth, who was friendly with Epstein and was widely suspected of misconduct. After a BBC TV interview in which the prince tried to claim innocence, many viewers concluded he was, in fact, guilty of sexual offenses. Now, UK police are on the case.
On Thursday, August 12, London Metropolitan Police Commissioner Cressida Dick announced British law enforcement would examine the evidence of potential wrongdoing by Prince Andrew. The announcement comes in the context of the ongoing civil suit against the prince in America, filed by Virginia Giuffre. Giuffre alleges Prince Andrew abused her in several locations around the world including the London home of Ghislaine Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein’s accomplice, when she was still a minor.
Having examined the evidence in the Epstein case previously, British police opted not to open a formal investigation. However, speaking on LBC Radio earlier this week, Commissioner Dick said she had directed her team to “have another look” at the allegations against Prince Andrew, stressing “no one is above the law.”
Prince Andrew has not partaken in public royal duty since 2019. However, the new development still has hugely damaging implications for the Royal Family.
