(TheConservativeNews.org) – Republicans have wanted to see the end of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s reign for years now and the upcoming November midterm elections may finally grant the wishes of the GOP.

During an appearance in Phoenix, Arizona Governor of Florida Ron DeSantis made an amazing speech in which he made a promise that Nancy Pelosi’s time in office is coming to an end based on trends in the politisphere.

The Florida Governor began his speech fueling the fire that the GOP has been burning since Joe Biden’s inauguration saying,“We’re gonna be fighting back against lockdown politicians all over this country who ruined people’s lives. We’re gonna be fighting back against a failed Congress which will result in the retirement of Nancy Pelosi.”

However, Pelosi has other plans. Pelosi wants Joe Biden to appoint her as ambassador to Italy.

Biden is allegedly holding the spot for Nancy, which is why he hasn’t filled the spot since taking office.

There is no wonder why Pelosi would want the position. The ambassador’s residence in Italy, Villa Taverna, boasts a pool, private gardens and a three-story wine cellar, in Rome.

Pelosi spent two weeks in Italy in July during the congressional recess at the ritzy Alpemare Beach Club in Forte dei Marmi, which is when speculation about the ambassadorship possibly being saved for the Democrat picked up steam.

Italy is the only G-7 country that doesn’t have a U.S. ambassador. One “highly placed Italian source” told Global Insider it’s “simply absurd and self-defeating for Washington” to have no one there.

Biden hasn’t appointed 27% of the 194 ambassador positions, which are no longer based on quality or aptitude but have become payoffs to supporters, donors, and political operatives. In Pelosi’s case, she’d be a dangerous Marxist operative.

It should be interesting to see if the new Senate will want Pelosi in the post.
