NYC Mayor Blasts AOC For Her Irresponsible Tweet…

(TheConservativeNews.org) – Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez voiced outrage Wednesday night over the death of Jordan Neely — a man who lost his life while being restrained by other passengers during a mental breakdown on the New York City subway where he was yelling at and threatening passengers.

A 24-year-old Marine veteran reportedly put Neely in a choke hold for about 15 minutes. Two other passengers restrained Neely by holding down his arms and pinning down his shoulders.

Neely was riding one of the city’s F trains when he started ranting and raving at other passengers. Neely was a homeless Michael Jackson impersonator with schizophrenia who had been arrested 42 times, including for punching a 67-year-old woman in the face. A Marine stepped in and subdued the crazed man protecting the rest of the passengers.

Two other men helped the Marine restrain Neely until police arrived. But the Neely died and now AOC and other liberals are calling the hero Marine a murderer.

“He started screaming in an aggressive manner,” journalist Juan Alberto Vazquez said about Neely.

“He said he had no food, he had no drink, that he was tired and doesn’t care if he goes to jail.

“He started screaming all these things, took off his jacket, a black jacket that he had, and threw it on the ground.

“None of us who were there thought he was in danger of dying.

“We thought he just passed out or ran out of air.”

But AOC said: “Jordan Neely was murdered.

“But bc Jordan was houseless and crying for food in a time when the city is raising rents and stripping services to militarize itself while many in power demonize the poor, the murderer gets protected w/ passive headlines + no charges.

“It’s disgusting.”

New York City Mayor Eric Adams said:

“I don’t think that’s very responsible at a time when we’re still investigating the situation.

“Let’s let the DA conduct his investigation with the law enforcement officials, to really interfere with that is not the right thing to do.

“To interfere with that is not the right thing to do.

“I’m going be responsible and allow them to do their job to determine exactly what happened.”
