(TheConservativeNews.org) – The humanitarian crisis at our Southern Border continues to worsen. The severity of the situation prompted 26 governors to meet with Biden to discuss a potential action plan. But where is Kamala Harris in all of this? Isn’t she the one in charge of handling the border?
MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle is asking the same question.
Pictures from over the weekend clearly indicate the situation isn’t improving. Governor Greg Abbott of Texas claims there were around 16,000 immigrants in Del Rio as of Saturday, September 18. The governor wants Biden to declare a federal emergency.
President Biden appointed Vice President Kamala Harris to lead the charge on this critical issue early in 2021. So, where is she?
MSNBC’s Ruhle singled the vice president out, asking where she was and insisting that she was the one in charge of the Southern Border. Ruhle then furthered her attack on Harris by mentioning her first trip to another country, where she told immigrants not to come to the US. The anchor pointed out that people aren’t listening.
This incident isn’t the first time critics attack Harris over her actions or her failure to act. When Biden first appointed her as the border czar, she neglected to visit the Southern Border for almost 100 days. Of course, she didn’t take the criticism seriously and shrugged it off with a laugh during an interview with NBC’s Lester Holt.
