(TheConservativeNews.org) – For a business to succeed in Las Vegas, it needs to bring a “wow” factor. With all the attractive hotels and casinos in the iconic Nevada city, the competition is tough. A new resort is in the works that promises to bring a one-of-a-kind experience others in the area won’t be able to top.
The moon-shaped resort is set to open in 2026-27 with four locations: China, Spain, the Middle East and Las Vegas. The project will cost a whopping $5 billion, but investors will see a quick return with an expected $1.8 billion in revenue annually and a profit of $500 million per year.
Visitors can pay $500 to spend 1.5 hours on the 292,011-square-foot simulated “lunar surface.” When compared with what an actual trip to the moon would cost, that’s pocket change. The moon-shaped hotel will sit on top of a three-story base with a casino, spa and other forms of entertainment.
The 5.5 million-square-foot structure will be at a 1/75,000 scale of the actual moon. Beneath the realistic “lunar surface,” builders plan to house 4000 suites spanning more than 2.8 million square feet. Co-founder of Moon World Resorts Inc., Michael Henderson, says the rooms will each span 735×650 feet, and their rates will compare to those of other five-star hotels.
