Mike Pence Says “Evil Empire” Is Gaining Too Much Power

(TheConservativeNews.org) – Former Vice President Mike Pence currently occupies uncertain ground within the Republican Party. Pence distinguished himself as a capable leader during the Trump administration, showing voters his dedication to conservative values. However, a feud erupted between Pence and former President Donald Trump in the wake of last year’s election, as Pence refused to back Trump in his claims that the election had been affected by fraud. It’s unclear whether this disagreement was ever resolved.

Now, Pence is attempting to find favor with GOP voters.

On Wednesday, July 14, the former vice president remarked on the dangers presented by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) during a speech at the Heritage Foundation. He said China was becoming an “evil empire” under its current communist regime, going as far as to suggest it could pose a greater threat to the US than the Soviet Union during the Cold War.

He also targeted the Biden administration for “rolling over” for the CCP, imploring the president to take a tougher stance against China.

Pence may have ruffled a lot of feathers within the GOP, but he seems to know what he’s talking about when it comes to the threat posed by the CCP. He will likely try to issue more public statements of this nature if he’s considering his own bid for the White House in 2024.
