Kamala Harris Takes Over Discussions With Norway

(TheConservativeNews.org) – During and after the presidential election of 2020, there was much speculation around the role Kamala Harris would play in Joe Biden’s administration. Given the allegedly ailing faculties of the latter, many suggested Harris would wield more power than her vice presidential predecessors. It now appears the people who made these comments were correct.

On Tuesday, March 9, Vice-President Harris spoke with Norway’s prime minister, Erna Solberg, without President Biden on the line. The two reportedly discussed the “strong alliance” between their nations, as well as initiatives for the advancement of “global health.”

This is not the first time Harris has had discussions with foreign leaders in the absence of the president. Since taking office, she’s had solo calls with France’s President Emmanuel Macron, Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Clearly, Kamala Harris intends to be closely involved in matters related to foreign policy, sometimes even to the exclusion of her president. She may well be more capable in this regard than Joe Biden; however, that isn’t the arrangement the American people voted for.
