(TheConservativeNews.org) – Ghislaine Maxwell, the woman who allegedly facilitated much of the sex crime committed by Jeffrey Epstein and his associates, is currently in custody in a Brooklyn jail. She’s awaiting trial for her role in the disgraced financier’s crimes, and has been denied bail on five occasions. Refusals to be released have not been the only disappointments Maxwell has encountered in the courtroom so far.
On Friday, June 4, a federal judge refused Maxwell’s legal team’s request to access the diary of a girl who Jeffrey Epstein reportedly abused. Annie Farmer was just 16 when Epstein first assaulted her in 1996.
Farmer stopped writing in her diary shortly after her first contact with Jeffrey Epstein. The journal doesn’t mention Ghislaine Maxwell once. The judge dismissed the theory that the diary was broadly relevant to the case, calling it a “fishing expedition.”
Annie Farmer is among a number of alleged victims expected to testify against Maxwell at trial. We can only imagine the horrors she and others like her will discuss on the stand.
