George Floyd Autopsy Battle

( – There’s a lot more to the George Floyd story than the media is telling us and he may not be the hero the Left has made him out to be. New reports from a prominent medical examiner are brutally telling.

George Floyd potentially died from more than one cause, at least according to some attorneys involved in the case. This certainly doesn’t excuse the actions of a police officer who kneeled on Floyd’s neck for eight minutes, contributing to his death. But, it’s another piece of the larger puzzle that we can’t ignore.

On Monday, August 24, attorneys representing former officer Tou Thao asked for the release of Floyd’s complete autopsy reports from three different medical examiners, including a private lab hired by Floyd’s family.

The attorneys want these reports released because they believe they’ll show that Floyd died from a combination of factors.

On Tuesday, new exhibits were filed in the case suggesting the medical examiner in Hennepin County thought Floyd had a potentially “fatal level” of fentanyl in his system at the time he died. During the trial, lawyers said they’ll be arguing that Floyd may have died as a result.

To make this case even more complicated, one of the medical examiners told attorneys the autopsy showed “no physical evidence” Floyd died of asphyxiation. That conflicts with what the initial autopsies said.

Among the new documents released Tuesday, was another memo highlighting the findings from the medical examiners independently hired by the Floyd family. They concluded the cause of death was “traumatic asphyxia” caused by the officer kneeling on his neck, but admitted the report was incomplete.

More information will come out in the trial. Currently, it’s looking more and more like there might have been multiple causes of death for Mr. Floyd.
