(TheConservativeNews.org) – A bizarre story is currently causing political difficulty for House Democrat Ron Kind (D-WI). Earlier this month, the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) launched an ad campaign claiming a building Kind owns is under lease to a spa business that facilitates the solicitation of sex.
Fittingly for a Democrat, Kind initially claimed “racism” was the reason his building was the subject of this line of questioning. It’s now emerged, however, that the truth is a little more complex.
On Monday, May 17, Breitbart published a report on the matter, revealing that the La Crosse, Wisconsin premises has an extremely shady history. Prior to Kind’s purchase of it in 1993, it was a known “house of prostitution.” Figures involved with the building received criminal convictions arising from this enterprise in the 1970s and 1980s.
It appears Rep. Kind didn’t work too hard to clear the reputation of the premises after he bought it. Police have responded to calls to the address on no fewer than seven occasions over the last three years. Unless Kind can persuade voters of his innocence in this matter, he’s likely to encounter difficulties getting reelected next November.
