(TheConservativeNews.org) – President Joe Biden has kept himself largely insulated from the glare of media attention since he entered the White House. He took longer to give his first White House press conference than any other president in modern history. Of course, the reason for his camera-shyness isn’t tough to figure out; he’s one of the most gaffe-prone world leaders alive.
Biden’s reluctance to court media attention was in evidence once again on Tuesday, April 13, as he addressed the media in the Oval Office before meeting with the Congressional Black Caucus. Though he was asked three questions, the president completely ignored one and partially answered another before finally giving a proper answer to the third.
Bafflingly, when asked what he could do to improve relationships between police and the black community, Biden answered: “A lot. And I’ll tell you later. Let’s go.” It’s not clear why an American president would think this is an appropriate way to address the media, but it does give us an entertaining addition to the Biden highlight reel.
