(TheConservativeNews.org) – In response to former President Donald Trump’s town hall event with CNN on Wednesday evening, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claimed that the liberal outlet was “manipulated” into “platforming election disinformation” in their hosting of the leading Republican 20204 presidential candidate.
“CNN should be ashamed of themselves,” Ocasio-Cortez began on Twitter.
“They have lost total control of this ‘town hall’ to again be manipulated into platforming election disinformation, defenses of Jan 6th, and a public attack on a sexual abuse victim,” she added.
Ocasio-Cortez continued, “The audience is cheering him on and laughing at the host.” The audience at Manchester New Hampshire’s Saint Anselm College was made up of Republican and undecided voters.
Human Events Daily host Jack Posobiec responded to AOC, saying: “Get your hankies ready, Sandy. 2016 is happening again.”
“AOC is RAGING that CNN has given a primetime platform to President Trump to remind the American people just how popular and refreshing his policies and approach actually are, and just how horrible Joe Biden’s presidency actually is,” wrote Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.
AOC later attacked CNN further, on Twitter and on MSNBC: “There is simply no way CNN can feign ignorance about the fact that they set up a sexual assault victim to be targeted and attacked on national television a day after the verdict. People were sounding the alarm about this exact scenario. They let it happen anyway without a plan…This, the choice to platform election disinformation, lies about January 6th, totally unchecked and reckless claims about abortion… they need to take ownership of what just happened. This cannot be normalized. It’s dangerous.”
AOC having a melt down over the fact this town hall even aired, means it was a big win for Trump.
